Out of the Package and Onto the Page Layout and Giveaway Winner

As promised in this post, here is the layout I made for the challenge:

I used this package of rub-ons from October Afternoon:
They were old but still rubbed on beautifully, and I decided to use them as a mat for my photo. I put a little piece of adhesive on the back of my photo and centered it on a piece of white cardstock. I cut up the rub-on sheet and got to work, adding images here and there until I used almost all of them to make a nice, somewhat rectangular mat. I removed the photo (you can see the little piece of adhesive left in the center below) to add some images underneath the edges.
Once the mat was complete, I reattached the photo, trimmed the edges of the cardstock and mounted that on to a piece of beige chevron patterned paper. I wrote my journaling next, centering it under the photo.
I kept the rest of the page simple, just adding the title at the bottom in brown alpha stickers.

And now for the giveaway - the lucky winner is:
Congratulations Leslie - you'll be hearing from me soon! Thanks to everyone who commented. If you made a layout for the challenge, please leave me a link in the comments below - I'd like to see what you made.

  1. Another grand one-embellishment page - congrats to Leslie

  2. A thousand thanks! This has been a totally inspiring series for me, as I have so much stash that never makes it to the page. You ROCK!
