CKC November Challenge #2 - Star Sign Inspiration

I was tasked with making a project for our second challenge this month - get inspired by the stars or zodiac constellations.  I decided I would interpret this very literally and pulled out a couple of star punches to use with the papers in my kit.

For the background, I chose a white wood grain cardstock.  I love this paper - I purchased it several years ago and would like to order more but I can't remember the source.  Such problems, right?

Because my kit has a very whimsical feel, I thought that I would probably be using it to scrap photos of my daughters as little girls.  Inspired by the acrylic "play" from Bella Blvd., I found two photos of my girls playing and printed them in black and white because the colors completely clashed with my patterned papers.  I placed them in the center of the wood grain and stitched a circle of punched stars swirling around them:

I used the silver puffy hearts and puffy sequins (both from my kit) to fill in some of the spaces between the stars, and also added three white acrylic stars that happened to be sitting out on my table.  I didn't really have anything "deep" to say about these photos so I turned to Pinterest and found a lovely quote about play from Fred Rogers.  I printed it out on a label and used it and the acrylic word to frame my photos.

I hope you'll take on this challenge - don't forget to add a link to your project on our monthly link-up page here, or post it on the challenge thread in our Facebook community here, or tag us on Instagram here.  You can even do all three - we love seeing what you put together!
